Seems all of our lives we've been dying to forget, the broken bones and broken homes. Its survival of the fittest, gotta be in this to win it, at least thats what I'm told. Chances are scarce still they want us in the race, cuz nobody reaches the end. Shoot for the stars, success line your pockets, who cares who gets stepped on. *We're all in this fight together, if we're united, we can make this our own, we've gotta learn from our mistakes, grab the reins, finally have a place to call home. (we don't need anymore distractions, you got it. you got it. you got it. Face down!) *But still we rage on! With all these broken bones and broken homes. No longer suffer in silence, so out sons might have a brand new day.

Come on out, come on over, come on I'm down for the cure. They lost your name, but got your number, your number stays in line or you'll get a reaction, and it won't take that long They keep your records, for future reference, they stack it all in a pile, Its all arranged, by your number, but if you want to be free... [you gotta break it and go, just take it and run] *I say hey, whats your name, I wanna see your face, tonight It circulates, to all the ad firms, they gotta know how to sell, Its all arranged by your number, a number they paid well for so they can make you want things, that you have no need for. Everywhere, we're surrounded, promote materialism They know just how, they've bought your number, but if you want to be free...

The Walls 06:07
Well we've travelled down this road before, paid your taxes and fought your wars, where are we going. March for U.S. interests, protect oil pipelines, on three continents. Keep on bombing as you please, keep the enemy on their knees, CIA coup ousts elected president. You can't hear one voice above the bombs and the guns, if we all shout together, we can be heard... *Alone! We're lost! where are we going Panamaranians shot! urging canals return in 64, marines supress a general strike back in 25 overthrow an election, the democratic decision,, who cares who lives and who dies we've travelled down this road before, tell me where are we going We can't remain in a system thats propelled by their greed, the jet set breeds, the hunger won't die till it feeds. I won't sit back, write just another rock & roll song, we're not disconnected, just seperated by their walls [Gotta start something, gotta say it, sing it loud] We'll we've travelled down this road before, paid your taxes and fought your wars, where are we going. Indonesia 1965 million killed in CIA operation. Don't report civilian casualties, so keep on bombing as you please, third world in trenches as the 1% gets richer. You can't hear one voice above the bombs and the guns, if we all shout together, we can be heard

Right! Now! 04:10
We're erecting plastic buildings, that are built just to come down, manufacturing things to break, so we buy them all over again. Turned us into a debter nation, inflation must turn round, whole worlds based on a dollar, that they produce as they please *Right! Now! Get up, stand up, wake up and take a look around, They try to hide it but they just can't deny it, the money travels uphill. What will be the reaction, to an administration, obsessed with privitization, they try so hard to control, don't they realize, their biggest threat *Who cares what's right and wrong, its all about the money Under the guise of democracy, they pretend that we are free, do they really think I'll believe this, cuz its force-fed by the media. Forget the past forget the future, the presents here the presents now, know yourself know your surroundings, know your mind that can't be taken from you.

Through all these years we've been alienated But they'll never tear us apart, we're all in this fight together But I won't grease the wheel, won't keep on spinning in circles Just to keep your pockets full, It ain't worth the sacrifice You gotta get lost before you'll be found Get off their map, end up in your own direction But don't forget these bonds we create they run deeper than their laws I don't wanna grease the wheel, don't wanna keep spinning in circles Just to keep your pockets full, it ain't worth the sacrifice What I really want to say is your materialistic dreams they mean nothing to me Just feeds the machine Why can't we interact with one another, without prejudice, precidents or regrets It don't make sense I don't wanna work myself to the bone Just to keep you world spinning round I've got my friends and family and we'll be just fine No countries to be divided, we'll be just fine

Martyr 02:52
I opened up my eyes today, I thought they lied to me, know they lied to me I start to crawl out from my cage, to find another way, to find another way *But I, I should of known better, and I never learn And I, shouldn't have fucked with you, Should of known that I would only burn The lesser of the two evils, is this our choice, thats where we fail The times aren't changing if we keep this pace, it comes down to you and me, down to you and me
